VoIP (Digital Voice) and Wireless Security systems.

June 29th, 2009

CU2000_hresMany people don’t even know what VoIP is. VoIP is digital home phone service that cuts the cost of home phone service by up to 50%. Now that copper phone lines and regular phone lines are going away and everything is going digital we need to remember that a trend is forming. Why will this happen and how can it happen. Just as Television went digital the past few weeks, so will telephone service. The Digital Telephone adapter contains your phone number, and all calling features that the regular phone lines currently posses. What can Digital home phone service do for you? When you think about the savings over the next year it will dramatically show you how much money you can be saving over the year. If you are currently paying over $60 for home phone service then your most likely to pay about $720.00 per year and that’s being nice when assuming you pay about $60 per month. Now with Digital home phone service (VoIP) you would be paying about lets say about $30 per month you are looking at a bill of about $320.00. That’s a assumed savings of over 50% and a yearly savings of $360.00. If you calculate that up over the years you most likely would have been able to pay for a vehicle over the years of squandering that type of money.

ind_package_silverNow, that you understand Digital Voice, its time to see what’s going to happen with your home security system right? Remember most home/commercial security companies only allow regular phone lines for monitoring and communications with their central security systems. So why would I want to be secured by a land line again? Don’t most people know if you want to get rid of a home security system all you have to do it cut the phone line? So how can I really feel secure? Once the phone line is cut, then how will they communicate with me? Well now its time to introduce a Wireless home security system. This system will afford you the comfort in knowing that your security system phone lines can’t be cut.. Why? Because you don’t have phone lines period. Its wireless, and there is nothing the intruder can do about it. Let me see them try to cut a wireless signal? Not only that, it also allows for quicker transmission via the internet and more reliability from your home security system. I think I would like to be assured of at least some sort of signal being sent to my provider than none at all. Also, the wireless security system from Protect America, (the 3rd largest home security provider) in America has a talking security base. I’m always fond of hearing “Front Door Open, or Back door Open, or Garage door breached” now it allows me to know where to run from and where not to go. Remember the old security system just beeped, and that is not enough information to tell me where I need to run!

The advantages of VoIP and wireless security definitely pay off in the long run. It not only saves you money and gives you a sense of security, but it also gives you the opportunity to decide how you want to secure your family. If you want do a half way job using land line security, then go right ahead, but I will make sure that I will secure my family with VoIP (Digital home phone service) and Wireless home security.

VoIP Video Phone – Changing the way We communicate

April 25th, 2009

I only remembered the Video phone back when I used to watch the Jetsons as a young kid growing up. Now its reality and its here. Donald Trump just did a feature on how own show the Apprentice about the video phone. The Video phone is also VoIP enabled and I personally think that more companies need to adapt the Video Phone technology. Yes, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) allow regular phone calls to be routed via the Internet which drastically reduces and in some cases eliminates long distance charges.

Now most companies are emerging based off of the VoIP technology and more Millionaires are being made. Hopefully more companies emerge and adapt Video Technology. There are two home based businesses that I know of at the moment that offer Video Phones which is awesome for the person that is trying to start a Technology company for little to nothing. If you have an Entrepreneurial spirit, this is the time to Jump on the bandwagon of what’s called Digital Video and voice Wealth trend.

Did you know that a Video Phone can replace your home phone service? If you currently subscribe to a company that uses regular phone lines and your bill is somewhere around $80 per month, you can now get Video Phones for $199 for the equipment and $30 per month. Now not only do you save $50 per month, but now you also see the people that you need to speak with. Now of course, the person that you are speaking to also needs a Video phone in order to see each other, but now you can make regular land line calls around the world from your video phone. Some people like me that have researched and use the Video phone today love to blow up my Video picture on a 60 inch screen and speak to the person I’m seeing live. My daughter loves to just look at herself in the Video screen.

Ok, so what are the benefits of the Video Phone anyway and where can I use it. This would be awesome for Businesses like law firms that do depositions, Churches to interface with other members, Schools that want to do distance programs with other schools. Organizations, that want to cut back on the cost of travel and want to put more resources into Video Conferencing and Infrastructure. Now don’t spend thousands of dollars on Typical Video conferencing, you now spend just under $200 for a Video phone. Also, great uses for this are for parents whose children are leaving home for College and won’t be able to travel back and forth frequently, Especially if you live in a foreign country. Here is a letter that I read in a magazine about a family moving into the next century and getting a video phone.

I am writing to let you know about how I/we feel about owning and using the (Globalinx) products and services. We are a close family, we keep in contact with all our children whether they are grown and living on their own or still living at home. Recently, our two older sons enlisted in the US Army to serve their country. My wife and I decided to set the boys up with computers and web cams so that we can talk with them as often as possible. Both sons are stationed in Korea for their first duty stations. Getting on the Internet to talk to them via web cam was at best, frustrating. The computer would freeze, or we would have to wait for the web to catch up to itself, we’d have to re-boot close any open programs, all this just to have a normal conversation. Since receiving our Video Phones, calling and talking to the boys is almost like having them live next door. The speed of the video, the clarity and the sound is far and above and better than any web cam service I can think of.

Our youngest child is the baby sister to the older boys and she misses them as much as they miss her. They worried about not being around for her as she grows up. Now with our video phones, she gets to see them as much as she wants. We care about our children, keeping contact with them is very important to us. I can’t see of a better way for that to happen than with our Video Phone. Product, service and cost….can’t get any better.

Thanks for everything!

So as you can see I’m really impressed with the Video phone that I have also. Its really saved me tons to call my family back in the Bahamas. Now my calls to them are free and now I can see them also. So if you have been contemplating Video technology as a consumer or owner let me know. I would be happy to see more people and companies adopt this technology.
