Digital Television now Digital Voice or VoIP

June 16th, 2009

Just how Digital Television (http://www.dtv.gov/) happened on Friday Digital voice will is also happening at a rate that is staggering. Yet so many people still use regular phone lines and pay bills in excess of a few hundred dollars. Most consumers don’t know that they can DRASTICALLY reduce their phone bills to less than $30 per month with all the same features as their copper and outdated phone lines. Most consumers don’t know that all they need to do is plug their Internet cable into one Jack and the phone line into the phone jack in the back of the adapter and they will get Dial tone. You can port your number over within 4-6 weeks to a digital provider like my company Hydrenet Communications a Globalinx franchise.

Its really simple if you look at it, and most people are reluctant to change their services because they just don’t understand or are afraid to do so. If they switch carriers they feel as if they will loose something, when in all actuality you will be gaining TONS of features.

How would you like to have a Web Based control panel that allows you to make calls from the web? How about all the regular features, please the find me follow me feature that you can program to ring all your numbers. I personally use the feature that sends me an email if I miss a call on my home phone. Then I can listen to the Voice mail on my blackberry and call the person back if and when I want. This can also be used for businesses as we at Hydrenet Communications LLC can also provide services Commercially to small, medium and large Corporations.

What is VoIP or Voice over Internet Protocol? Or Digital Voice as most of the other companies call it?

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), is a technology that allows you to make voice calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular (or analog) phone line. Some VoIP services may only allow you to call other people using the same service, but others may allow you to call anyone who has a telephone number – including local, long distance, mobile, and international numbers. Also, while some VoIP services only work over your computer or a special VoIP phone, other services allow you to use a traditional phone connected to a VoIP adapter. Bahamas digital Home Phone! Does the Government Want Competition?

April 21st, 2009

Well by now most of you that know me personally know that I’m from the Bahamas. I was born and raised in Eleuthera, then moved to Freeport where I stayed until 8th grade and then eventually moved to Nassau. Well, Voice Over IP has hit the Bahamas and its hitting it hard. Many people “BACK HOME” are jumping on the VoIP (Voice Over IP) or digital home phone bandwagon. The reason is because its allowing them to lower their phone bills and be able to communicate with their friends and family all over the world for a LOW cost.

Recently, I went back home to promote and tell more people about my VoIP Voice and Video services. I had a GREAT turnout and some of my old friends really supported me in my venture. However, I was disturbed at something that I heard. Now this may be speculation or this may be truth. The local telephone company has come out with its own VoIP service called “VIBE” from Batelco Bahamas. I believe the Vibe service is $35 per month and they basically resell the services of Net 2 Phone (http://web.net2phone.com/solutions/broadband/)

Then there is another company in the Bahamas called Indigo and they also offer services starting at $34.95 per month with a local Bahamian number and the ability to call the U.S and Canada. These are both very good services but what do you get back after you pay that bill? Not a thing right? Look at Business ownership in this area folks. Its the next wealthtrend. I did.

The reason why I was writing this was because I heard the Monopoly main company in the Bahamas is trying to limit people from starting their own Businesses. Do you believe that? They have been threatening law suites and people are afraid. Now tell me how can you control the Internet and its resources? This is all a hoax and a scare tactic. Please don’t listen to these people, they have no control over the Internet and its resources. Many people are making money in this arena and they want to keep the money for themselves. Why would they want YOU to make money too right??

So remember If you want to lower your home phone Bills go with one of the companies back home that are offering these services. However, if you want to Start your own Business then you should look for a company that is offering Technology such as VoIP. Hit me up on Twitter (www.twitter.com/lincolnparks) or via Face book, or via this blog.
